The End of the School Year Sentimental Post

That's right, it's the end of the school year and I'm becoming sentimental and reflective of my past three years here at Asbury.  Freshman year I was the class president, Sophomore year I was the class vice-president, this year I headed up the Special Events Committee and rocked Asbury's first all school dance.  It's been a great experience and I've collected so many memories. This time next year is going to be rough.

I'm excited to see what God has in store for me this summer. I've written down my list of summer goals and although I'm not working on solving world hunger this summer, it should be fun. I have an internship at the Pentagon and am going to Honduras. Bring on the adventure.

I still have one more year, but having friends that are just a year older than me graduating next week, I feel as though I need to figure the rest of my life out. Do I go to grad school or just find a big girl job? I'll just try to get through the summer for now.

Little Koreans are Cute

Today's chapel might have possibly been the cutest, most patriotic, culturally diverse and best chapel ever. The Korean Children's Choir came and sang and they were absolutely ADORABLE! Please, look at them and tell me you don't want to take one home.

This is why it was such a patriotic chapel.

They sang God Bless America, the Star Spangled Banner and My Old Kentucky Home. I've never sang that many songs about America in such a sort period of time and their accents made it even better. It was a great chapel.

I'm Famous!

Okay, so I'm not actually famous, but I did play a (very) small role in the short film "Beholdhim," written and produced by my friends Zach and Andrew. It was selected and appeared in the 2012 Highbridge Film Festival. Check it out:

Internship Update

A couple of months ago I wrote a post about the great internship opportunity that I had in France for this summer and I want to update my supporters.

Sadly, that opportunity has fallen through due to my hostess becoming very ill. Thankfully God has provided me with another opportunity to go to Honduras with my church, Wellington Church.

I will help organize a team to go and aid the established medical clinic as well as host VBS programs at churches and school. I have been to Honduras twice and the last time I visited I was 16. I'm excited and thrilled to visit friends I've stayed in touch with and visit such a beautiful place again. I'm serious, check it out:

I will try to write posts while I'm there, but I may not have internet access. If not, I will post entries when I return. Thank you for your continued prayer and support.

It's been crazy around here

As much as I love writing and having a blog, I'm really bad at keeping up with it. I apologize for the few faithful of you who read. Thank you for sticking with me. You're awesome.

My excuse, as always, is that I've been really busy. No, really, I have been. With school work and organizing more events on campus, it's been hectic, but they were a blast. The Legacy Games, followed by The Finale, well I think that pictures speak for themselves.
